The Suede Shirt Jacket

Few garments have seen such rapid rise to fame as the shirt jacket, initially a workwear garment and today a natural staple in every stylish mans wardrobe. It is easy to understand why more and more people are inspired by its simplicity and elegance as the garment combines much  of the best from a jacket with the relaxed feel of an outerwear garment.

Our model is characterised by a stripped-down design with a simple chest pocket and double patch pockets

The name shirt jacket means that the model’s construction is precisely reminiscent of a classic shirt, free from inserts for a light and natural feeling. Instead of light poplin fabrics; coarser canvas fabrics, flannel are used instead or in our case; the finest goat suede.

Regardless if one choses to combine the shirt jacket with a pair of well-pressed flanell trousers and shirt or, as we have chosen to interpret the garment, with a pair of light washed jeans and a crew neck sweater, it is a excellent substitute for the classic jacket.
