The finest lamb suede
The suede overshirt was born from the idea of creating a refined interpretation of the iconic French workwear jacket. A modern and versatile garment that still gives a subtle nod to its design heritage and can be worn with anything. Straight lines and seams are complemented by gentle curves and finished with delicate horn buttons.
Italian Denim
Denim is believed to have been created in France during the late 17th century and is a durable cotton twill. Some time later, the now-iconic fabric gained its distinct blue color through indigo dyeing, using natural indigo imported from India.
Over time, the fabric has evolved into a variety of weights, textures, finishes and Rose & Born has always included it in our collection. We offer it in finely washed shirting and mid-weight jeans, detailed with Swiss hardware, genuine leather patches, solid buttons, and beautifully rolled shirt collars.
Year-round tailoring
A strong house silhouette with a light interior. Our tailoring features an unconstructed structure with no shoulder padding, a relaxed fit, and a shaped waistline. This results in exceptional comfort and versatile layering options. Distinct lapel widths, a softly rolled button closure and kissing cuff buttons complete the house cut.
The fabrics are sourced through rigorous travel, resulting in a balanced selection of Belgian linen, British wool, and Italian cashmere.
We source our fabrics from renowned Italian mills known for their quality and tradition.
Essential shirting
For all occasions
Well-cut collars designed to be worn just as easily with or without a tie, solid buttons that offer a pleasant touch, and reliable fabrics meant to age with the wearer. These elements define our essential shirting line.
The silhouette is cut relaxed, with a slender waist and a curved hemline, creating a truly timeless shirt.
The collection includes royal oxfords, smooth cotton sateens, linens, and denim. All designed to age gracefully.
The Resort Shirt
When looking at past photos of artisans and movie stars in the Mediterranean during the 1960s and ’70s, they all appeared effortless, joyful, and relaxed.
That was the goal when introducing the Resort Shirt. A convenient and comfortable garment designed to handle small daily necessities in tropical heat without compromising on elegance.

Cashmere has always been close to Rose & Born and our clientele. We’ve developed each garment to meet a need in every wardrobe. Suitable for every season and every occasion.
Cashmere is a soft and prized fiber acquired from the undercoat of cashmere goats, known for its warmth, lightness, and versatility. Its fine fibers make it breathable yet insulating — perfect for year-round wear.
Rose & Born has perfected our Essential collection, maximizing the versatility of this fiber. We offer chunky, luxurious 7-gauge sweaters for colder, cozier days, as well as finely knitted sweaters that are perfect for year-round wear and layering, thanks to their minimal added volume.
Blending the fiber with merino wool results in a more easy wearing garment, offered in a smart polo neck and timeless crew neck.
Versatile fine knits
Our clientele’s most cherished pieces: finely knitted cashmere sweaters.
The selection includes sportier half-zips, timeless crewnecks, and smart-casual polos and cardigans. A sober color palette is offered to maximize both past and future wardrobe compatibility.
Knitted tightly and finely, the garments remain non-transparent, perfect as year-round layering companions. Wear them over your favorite white shirt or striped patterns, and under a tailored sport coat.

The Essential outerwear selection is inspired by vintage finds sourced by our staff during trips abroad, historical menswear, and the Rose & Born archive.
From A1 pilot jackets, varsity styles, Italian coat silhouettes, and classic fieldwear, each piece draws from these timeless references but is reimagined through Rose & Born’s distinct Scandinavian design language to create something uniquely our own.
The result are garments that blend echoes of the past with functionality and discreet luxury.
The Field Jackets
Originating in the countryside and out in the field, the field jacket and M65 model gradually transitioned into everyday city life as times changed. Known for their style, comfort, and practical storage, they quickly became icons.
Our Field Jacket features an action back for ease of movement, a removable ultra-soft fur collar, and is crafted from supple wool with water-repellent properties.
The M65 jacket clearly draws inspiration from vintage finds and pays subtle homage with its expandable, oversized pockets. Designed to be long enough to cover tailored garments, it's offered in a rich deep navy cashmere and a lightweight, silky-smooth technical fabric
